Hi, im new here, but have had a Mi16 powered Peugeot 205 on Megajolt and Webers for a while. I have now got a Gti6 engine and need to mount the trigger wheel on the crank pully, its not as straight forward as i thought it might be as its just a plain pully with one bolt (24mm spanner size) sunk in the middle of the pully. Has anyone here used the gti6 engine on Megajolt/used a similar pully and how have they mounted the trigger wheel?
Many thanks for any ideas
Matt.

I too had problems when I discovered that it wasn't as straightforward as I had hoped, to mount a trigger wheel on the crank on my engine. The profile of the crank made it virtually hopeless to mount a wheel to it.
I anyhow converted a dizzy to a 72-2 wheel, and it works nicely. Alexander here on the forum too has a converted dizzy with a much smaller wheel than mine. We use the same sensor though. The default Ford sensor couldn't read the teeth when they got small.
The upside of having the converted dizzy installation, is that I can adjust the trigger point for 10BTDC - as one would when adjusting a typical dizzy. Much easier than trying to adjust a wheel after it has been mounted to the crank.
I know that with the latest firmware/software, you can adjust the timing too. But you couldn't when I installed. And adjusting with the software cuts down on the range available for advance.
