It has a front metro rad and the dizzy stops the grille sitting back properly, even with a very low profile Maestro 1300 cap. I really need to lose/move the dizzy, hence coilpack and EDIS thoughts.

It will also allow me to insert a 2nd electric fan in behind the rad. It has a habit of overboiling in traffic!

Chances are that being able to tweak the timing properly you'll be able to bring the temperature down a bit. Overheating is often a sign that you're running lean and/or over advanced.

Once it's all installed you'll be able to plug the dizzy hole in the block like this:

It's a cut down old dizzy, with an M12 bolt through the center. Seems to work really well.
