what mods need to be done to run tps instead of map

Hi all, im new to this so forgive me if this sounds like a stupid question, im waiting delivery of my mjlj at the moment and have been reading some of the forum q+a. im running twin 40s and a reasonably wild cam so tps sounds the way to go. what mods need to be done to run tps instead of a map sensor on an assembled unit. i should have ordered the parts and built my own but spare time is in short supply at the moment. are there any other users in the chesterfield area of the uk. any help much app Tim

Hello tim

I myself am working with tps
In order to work with this sensor you need to remove
the map sensor.
Run the +5volt to the pgm4 output (disconnect the pgm4
output by scraching the lead away on the board),ofcourse you lose
one pgm output.
There is one pin not used where you can return the signal
from the sensor and connect this pin with board where the
signal from the map sensor used to be.
You also need to connect the gnd lead of the sensor whith
on of the 2 gnd's of the molex connector.

thanks for the reply, sounds like not to hard a job to do. i think it would be even easier to do if i had the unit. where abouts are the pics on doing this mod, thanks Tim
