Hi Danny,

Could you try using the latest 1.3.13 software? We just released it last night.

Once you install it, try performing the installation. If that fails, immediately go to the System Status page and click application status (first menu item) then click the button to copy the application log to the clipboard. Paste that here.

It's important you grab the application log immediately after failing the upgrade so we can catch what it's doing in the act; recommend you find the place where you can grab the app log first before attempting the firmware upgrade.

Side note, were you ever able to update firmware in the past?

I was able to do it in the past on Windows 7. I have never been able to do it on Windows 10. I have added the unsigned driver and all.

I will try the new app tonight. i will copy and paste what I can.

Ok attached are the logs from the primary method and alt motherd plus the atl method do a full restart of the app

I have turned off anitvirus
I have tried diffrent cables
I have tried from USB2 and USB3 ports

Thanks. So these were logs immediately after trying to do the firmware upgrade. I don't see anything in the logs about it trying to actually do the firmware upgrade process, which is interesting.

Can you try an older version of the app, say 1.3.0 ? Got a MacOS computer you can try with?

In the meantime, we're going to try some additional things for you to test - seems like maybe the normal communications process is trying to compete with the firmware upgrade process.

Also: the 0.0.0 warning message is harmless and pops up periodically. On our list as well.

I don't have a mac. I might have a windows Xp or 7 machine in a closet somewhere.

I have Linux machines, but that dosen't help.

I will try an older version this weekend. I will also take the RCP out of the race car so i can do testing easier.

Ok good news...sorta. I used my last remaining non-windows 10 machine my HTPC and I was about to update the firmware.
