Hello ignition specialists! Can Megajolt be used with Bosch EZL electronic ignition? It has a breakerless distributor and rpm and vacuum advance is controlled by the ignition driver. The TDC signal comes from 60-2 tooths. The ignition has an octane knob for different fuel grades and intake air temp and engine water temp corrections. I have added a turbo and now I need a simple device for boost retard to fight detonation. So I only need the MAP version for boost retard, is this possible to hook up with the original ignition system?
Thanks for your advice!

In a word, no....
You can completely replace the existing Bosch unit - and lose the 60-2 wheel, knob, water and engine temp capabilities - with a MJLJ, 36-1 wheel and EDIS components and have a very effective MJLJ controlled ignition system.
But you can't just piggy-back a MJLJ onto what you have to retard ignition under boost conditions

Hello Tomant,
The Megajolt is specifically designed to work with the Ford EDIS module, and therefore would not be suitable to interface with breakerless ignition systems such as yours.
As you know, such a system shares many traits with the Megajolt, and we've been considering developing a system like this.
In the meantime, if it's practical you could go the route of EDIS+Megajolt, and realize the benefits of a crank fired ignition solution.
Hope this helps,
