Software version for my two yearold, never used Megajolt?

Hello all.
Forgive my ignorance but life got in the way when I started fitting my Megajolt

. All the ironwork and wiring is all done, and we're looking to get the beast fired up next Monday.
Anyway, a quick question, how do I know what software version to download for my Megajolt? I bought mine of the shelf complete from Brent in May 2006, but never got as far as connecting it.
This may be the 1st of a number of questions I fear, sorry.....

You are likely on 3.0.0 firmware. Just download the corresponding 3.0.0 configuration software and you should be off.

Note, the 3.0.0 software has some problems with certain usb-serial adapters, so best is to test it on a PC with a standard serial port.

Verify it all works, and then you may consider upgrading to the 3.2.1 firmware.

and if you do have to use a serial to USB converter, buy a belkin brand. seems to have a 100% success rate, unlike ebay-sourced no-name brands.
