it all looks good but is there is a simple list of what i need for a certain engine ie 1600 crossflow
You need a toothed wheel and VR sensor, an EDIS4(4 cylinder) Ford Module, and a coilpack. When you go to the wrecking yard, get all the associated plugs also, and as much of the wire harness as you can manage. And of course you need a Megajolt from Brent. Then it's all wiring/installation. Once you're running, have fun with the tuning, it's not that hard.
Also, decide if you want a TPS(throttle position sensor) or MAP(manifold air pressure) for load sensing. If TPS, get it off the donor car along with it's connector. Read the how-to section of this site, there is a lot of good info there.
I built my Megajolt in 2006, but just installed it this spring. I was dragging my feet, it wasn't that hard. I did need to pull my engine in order to fit it though, as there isn't much room on the pulley end of mine. All the help you'll need is here, these guys are smart and helped me a bunch. My car runs way stronger and smoother on Jolt!!

indeed. Especially the shielded wire. I didn't bother getting it,because maplin sell similar. But I find it isn't quite it from appearance,I haven't got mine fired up yet,so I can't comment on it's performance. The VR shielded wire has just the two,blue/yellow and blue/green. Whereas the SAW/PIP shielded wire has not just the blue/red and blue/yellow wires,it has a solid brown wire. The SAW/PIP shielded wire goes all the way to the EECIV,which I had to get the other day.DannyP wrote:and as much of the wire harness as you can manage.

I've put some pictures up on http://rides.webshots.com/album/187745001srPbmU of my xflow installation.
