edis 4 wiring

Am i right in thinking that on an edis 4 plug the ground wire is No9 and is brown and No 8 is 12v switch feed and is black? Just me who is used to seeing a ground as black

yes, you are right.
its a bit confusing if you are, like me, used to british standart wire color coding.

but its worth the "trouble", belive me

And the cable sheilding on the VR sensor and the pip/saw to MJLJ should all be grounded to the same place?
