VDO TACHO

Help please
I'm running a vdo tacho and it’s wired to pin 1 to the mljr but it seems not correct when revving. Its slow and not the same as the software on the laptop
Any idea?

My VDO tach is lazy, i.e. slow responding, but reads the same as the laptop. I am using Megajolt tach-out. Perhaps you could try the EDIS tach out, it may be a different enough waveform that your tach likes. Did the tach work well when still on the distributor?
