V4 board capacitor?

I've managed to lose one of the 0.1uF surface mount capacitors for my board (think sneazing and them all over the floor

)

all I want to know is can I use any 0.1uf cap to replace it or does it need to be a specific voltage etc?

really bugged me, only need to fit this to finish thr assembly and start testing

Hi Phil,

Sorry for your troubles!

a standard 0.1uF 50v capacitor will do. in a pinch, you can solder a leaded capacitor to the pads if you bend the leads just right.

In any case, the exact capacitor used is a ceramic 0.1uF 1206 X7R surface mount unit.
