Timeout reading cylinder count error?

My Megajolt jr V4 worked when tested after building perfectly and now does not seem to communicate, all i get is Timeout reading cylinder count error, does anyone know what would cause this?
It wont communicate anymore?, Its brand new

What computer are you using?? Is it the same one as when you tested?? What serial adapter are you using?? Have you changed anything else since you tested it??
