Just got my Megajolt running a few hours ago. Thank you everyone for all of your posts with advice and answers, I could have never done this project without reading about all of your projects.
While I still need to learn how to use the software and tune my MJ, the question that I would like to have answered now is, why is the rpm gauge in the MJ software showing about 800-1000 more rpm than my car is actually running??? It's showing about 1700 rpm when the engine is idling about 800 rpm.
thanks

Stay with me on this because it gets VERY technical. I shut down the MJ software...and then I turned it back on. That's pretty much all I did.
Before I went out to tune the car for the first time, I turned on my computer, brought up the software program and then connected to the MJ. Maybe I should have connected to the MJ and then brought up the software? It was either that OR when I changed from 4cyl. to 8cyl I never saved the configuration to the MJ and it gave me an rpm reading for a 4cyl.
Always learning...
