Hi all, maybe you can help me answering my question. I tried to do a search, but with little luck.
I bought a EDIS module and connector, but the connector is slightly different from the usual EDIS connector. Just see the picture:

Why doesn't my connector have all the 12 wires or holes for the wires? Where is number 6? Do you think I have gotten a wrong EDIS module? I took it from a European Ford Mondeo, 199x.
Thanks!
Wrong connector?

No there is nothing wrong with that connector. The pin that is missing is number 7 and its is connected to pin 9 internally within the module so don't worry about it. All you need to do know is just connect any shielding to pin 9 instead of pin 7 (which is missing). However if counting the pins from the top or the bottom don't forget to count the one that is missing.
Hope this helps
