Help .No serial port!!!

Hi all .I've just bought a new laptop , and like many these days it has no serial port. Do usb to serial adaptors work with megajolt or will i have to pay out £80 on a serial pcmcia card. Your advice will be very welcome.Thanks Bryan

Yes, a USB adapter should work for you. I use one for my laptop- I belive it's a model manufactured by Belkin.
