EDIS & MJLJ plugs

Post by personanongrata »

Howdo,
I'm in the process of converting my trackday car to ZX9R carbs + Megajolt and have got a couple of very basic question on the wiring.

The EDIS module I have bought came without a plug. What is the best way to wire to the module? Get a new plug? If so, from where....

Same deal with the MJLJ - Its got connector & the pins that came with the kit. But how do I wire up to that connector? I'm guessing that there is a plug that the pins fit into???

Oh PS. Can I use an aluminium trigger wheel (most seem to use steel)

Cheers
Iain

Hello,

On the EDIS plug the best way is to find a replacement from the appropriate vehicle in the auto salvage yard. Likely you'll get a spare EDIS module in the process.

On the Megajolt, double check your kit contents- we usually send the kits with the two molex connectors plugged together- it often looks like one 'unit'.

No, definitely not. It needs to be magnetic. You can find a wide range of wheels that will work on our website www.trigger-wheels.com
