Using 2 EDIS4 modules to overcome V8 rev limit

I need to be able to rev my SBC to at least 7500 RPM to take advantage of the cam.
I have heard rumors of using 2, 4cyl., modules to achieve this. Has this been done? Links? I have not been able to find any info specific on this.
