Only LOAD gauge works in Configurator
I've been running MJLJ for a few years on my truck. It works flawlessly and I am using ver 3.2 of the software. I was going to view my map and found that only the Load gauge works in the software. Engine runs great, not in limp mode, and I can view, download, upload, and modify my map. The tach gauge doesn't work nor does the focus move throughout the cells. More of an inconvenience than anything but I would like it to work in case I want to make any engine modifications. The only mod I have done is to connect a tachometer to Pin 2 on the EDIS unit. Thank you.
If the Megajolt isn't receiving the PIP signal it won't emit the SAW signal, which causes the EDIS module to run in 'limp home' mode. (advance fixed at 10 degrees). In this case the engine will run smootly, but with reduced power.
You can verify this with a timing light as described in the previous reply.

I've been having lot's of problems recently trying to get my rev limiter working. While messing around with it im now having the same problem as the OP.
So I've given it new power, earth and wired the pip/saw better, im still not getting a rev counter reading through the laptop, and there is no difference with the megajolt unit plugged in or not. It would appear my megajolt isn't recieving the PIP signal. How would I go about checking the EDIS is putting out a Pip signal?
I've tried another EDIS4, and the problem still exists.
