Real Time Config Load??

Hi All,

Sorry to bombard the boards with my 3rd post of the evening but I can't find this on the archives anywhere and I think it's quite significant to tuning.

Is it possible to upload/alter the ignition map via the software/laptop in real time while the engine is running? Or do you have to stop the engine and EDIS activity etc. before a new config can be uploaded?

I want to know such that when I get to the rolling road I am hoping to be able to tweek the timing while the cars at specific rpm and load. That will obviously be 100 times harder if I have to stop the engine each time I wanna change a setting.

Please let me know the deal...

Yes, you can update the config while the engine is running. It's explicitly supported.
