Megajolt/Edis wiring mess on my classic mini
Hi guys, I've just discovered this bundle on wrapped and badly soldered wires under some insulation tape on my classic mini. I'm just bought the car so it's not my handy work but surely this is not normal.. I am trying to trace a misfire underload could this be the cause?
Hi,
Poor wiring could always be a problem. However, it could be just the common things, like spark plug wires, a loose crank sensor and so on.
Sometimes the crank sensor bracket aren't built to rugged automotive grade standards, so checking the sensor for rigidity and alignment would be one of the first things to verify.
