Lotus CAN script

Post by bobel »

Hi Folks

I've pasted the script form the recent blog on logging the CAN signal from a Lotus elise ECU into my RCP to log from the ODBII port, however when I launch the race-capture app and select the speed, rpm or fuel level channels to display on the dash they show nothing,

Any ideas?? Coding isn't really my thing but the RCP dose not seem to be showing any error with the running of script, perhaps I'm missing something else, is there any other settings I need to enable.

I have the CAN bus set to "On", but still nothing,

Probably worth noting that I do have the RCP data streaming OK, i.e. yaw etc.

I'm out on track tomorrow and would really love to get this working.

Cheers

Hi,

Thanks for checking in. Can you try the simple logging script defined here:

http://autosportlabs.net/CAN_Bus_logger

This will dump messages to the log window below the script editor.

This will show you if you're getting any data at all.

You can also attach your current .RCP configuration here as well.
