While trying to find a wired control solution for multiple GoPros triggered from the Racecapture pro, ran into a product called "Bullet" from CAM-DO. They offer a wired controller and a module that connects to the back of the GoPro hero-4 and can be daisy chained to multiple cameras.

$99.00 for a single Bullet module. You'll need one for each camera.
$39.00 for the controller.
$15.00 for longer mini-mini controller cable.
Has anyone tried this yet?

First time seeing that. Cool! If it's triggering the shutter / 'record start' via powering up the camera, realize there is a bit of a delay between power on and when it starts recording. It's not a long period of time, but it's longer than the camera receiving a command over WiFi.

Neat stuff, but... why not just use the gopro remote to start/stop all of them? I figure if you're dealing with the hassle of batteries for multiple cameras it's trivial to add the charging of the remote as well.
I have a more expensive solution in my car, but I only use it with one camera so it's not too bad.
- Cam-do's Battery Eliminator ($47) which lets you supply 12v power in lieu of a battery
- Cam-do's Time Lapse Intervalometer ($199) which I use to turn on the gopro when power is applied
- startup script to enable bluetooth (or is it wifi? I forget) for the remote
This lets me just start my car and push the remote when I ready to record. In total, assuming you have the remote already which I did as it came with my hero 4, this is about $260, but for me it's SO worth it over dealing with batteries over the course of a 2-3 day weekend of racing.
