GoPro Wifi Remote

I'm not sure how feasible this is but would it be possible to mimic a GoPro Wifi Remote? Not the smart remote.

As I understand it, the remote is a AP and the gopros connect to it. The AP issues a command, and all cameras execute it. A little reverse from how it is configured now, GoPro AP and RC connects to it.

This would really expand the ability to use multiple GoPros and have the RC control them all.

Just a nice to have, and curious if anyone has considered it.
