GM temp. sensor (Closed element) issue

Post by MX-5RACER »

Can someone verify the GM temp. sensor (Closed element) settings are correct and working? I hooked up a sensor and the values I am getting are not making sense. I used a 2.2k resistor and the preset curve, but I am seeing 168 degrees with an ambient temps in the 90's with the engine cold. I am trying to find out if the values are wrong in the curve or if something else is going on.

Yes, they are correct, and recently tested. You could start by verifying the pullup resistor value, the 5v pullup voltage, and then the voltage going into RCP at the specified temperature.

Please let us know what you find out.
