Communication with Megajolt during assembly

During assembly some steps require using Hyper Terminal to verify communication with Megajolt. When users send 'S' and 'C' characters to Megajolt, does Megajolt replies back with 6 and 128 bytes accordingly, or it is more or less than 6 and 128 bytes?
