How do I "contribute" a file?

Post by rmaddock »

As the topic says......

I thought I'd contribute my 2.25 LandRover map.

Hi,

Click "Create content" on right, then choose the option to "Upload File"

Hi Brent.

As you can probably see, my file didn't get uploaded....twice. Is there some secret to this process?

Cheers.

Robert.

Hmm it seems you did take the correct steps but the file was not added. I recently did some re-configuration on the server and might've mucked things up. Let me check...

Arag! The file upload module isn't working again. I'll try to work on that tonight.

Uploading problems

Post by bhwm »

I also had problems, though I assumed it was because I was trying to upload a link:

<A HREF="http://picasso.org/mjlj/?q=node/895">ht ... ode/895</A>
I tried to edit what I had originally uploaded, but there was no option to edit it, so it would be good if you could add that option.

While you are looking at it, the form for posting on the forum also has problems on my computer. When I hit 'preview' everything becomes too wide to fit on the screen - and there's no horizontal scroll bar! See image below.

I have Win98, IE6 and 1024x768 if this is relevant.
