I am having the same problem. I have two lap tops, one vista and one xp.

the Xp works fine but cant get the vista one to connect.

not an issue yet as I use the old lap top.

Finally got my V8 Kit car up and running on Megajolt..

Now just need to get it mapped properly and set the Carb up again.

Thanks for the reply.. Just like to say how impresesed I am with the difference megajolt has made to the car, compareed with the 20 year old dizzy and coil I had. Next task is to do lots of data log runs and develop a map for my engine. 3.5 Rover V8 with hurricane cam shaft , Road lifters and webber...

Manifold Air Pressure – expected values Started looking at the readings off Megajolt toady and got a little confused by the MAP values. I think its the same cluster from maplins. To get the oragne I was thinking of fitting a misted lens over the led cluster to merge the red and green light, along with playing with the resister values. I have ordered the LED cluster today and had a little time to think about it. Building on the above circuit it should be possible to get the green leds to get brighter, then the red come on at the same time to give Amber, then for only the red to stay on brighter for shift. - will have to play aroun...

Where is the best place for my MAP take off on a n Edlerbrock 500 carb and manifold. I seem to have two ( different ) Vacuum ports for the dizzy advance, a take off point at the top of one of the runners on the manifold or a power port on the card for brake boost.
