Never been a massive fan of the Domino but that is one nice car, Sits really well on those rims :D Just to add only ever hear good things on the mini forums about ac and ML motorsport and its good to see there embracing the MJ

Just to add timing with MJ disconnected was 14 advance so i set trigger offset at -4 is this correct?

MJ is now up and running on my mini next job is to get it on to rolling road and set up but was wondering when i set the sensor up its not 100% (Its close probably get it with trigger offset) what would happen if i let the guy map it on the rolling road with the sensor a bit out? The maps im using are ones i have downloaded off here, I tried the aldon yellow but it seemed to hold back mid range so i switched to Midas1.mjlj by h4887 which runs well although i have yet to try it on the road so i suppose i will have to get it running on road, Still want to see how close the tim...

Got the MJ fully installed now just got to finish tightening a few things , minor adjustments etc. Not had chance to run it yet but if i rev it hard on drive im getting backfire through what i think is exhaust (Its popping when you let of revs like rally cars do). Cheers, Tidied all the grounds up , double checked wiring (grounding MJ to same place as EDIS) tried again and got rpm signal, Engine seems to run good but i need to get radiator back on now finish a few buts and give it a test on the road. First impressions are excellent and the help of this forum ...

Mini running no rpm signal

No rev signal, Mini's running fired straight up double checked all the wiring pip/saw etc but i can get a rev reading? I am currently running the MJ of a 9volt battery will this cause any probems for the rev counter , checked earths too :?

Worked fine and was mega-cheap :D

its a HL USB-RS232 and the driver to use is R340 on the supplied CD

USB Lead

Any ideas if this is the correct lead, Not sure what i need to order anyone bought any cheap ones on e-bay that work with MJ?

Fitting a-series trigger wheels wheel

Got my trigger wheel ready to bolt on, I know the bolt holds it to the crank but is this all that stops it spinning/moving as there does not seem to be anyway of locking the wheel?
