Vladimir about 4AGE
I found one problem. Fuel pressure on the side draft carbs is important. PLus they are racing carbs and not tractable for street use. They want to go from idle to high acceleration with very little mid range. I will go thru the MAP and see if I can make slight changers that can effect the midrange. ...

Position of Timing wheel
Robert, Thanks. I was not certain about the position of the gap in relation to the TDC of the engine. I intend to place the sensor on the left side of the engine about 90 degrees from the TDC marking. This will actually make the gap on the timing wheel at 180 degrees to the TDC mark on the front pul...

Position of tooth spacing
Thanks. I thought this might be the case. I will set it up so the engine will indicate 90BTDC when the gap passes. I intend to mount the sensor on the side of the block out of way of the fan belt and alternator. John H.

Position of pckup & 36 tooth wheel.
I am using a Toyota 1.6L and think the position of the wheel is only dependent on the position of the pickup. I am not using the distributor. I will use the EDIS system. If the engine timing is "O" top dead center, the missing tooth and pickup can be positioned 90degrees apart anywhere on ...
