Re: Series 2 RX-8 Canbus Questions
Pay attention to the Steering math, It is important if you want the steering to reflect the actual steer angle at the tire. Ill add fuel delta next as thats the difference between the left and right fuel tanks.

Re: Using racecapture pro mk3 in autox
Well. Yeah. I have a few national championships myself, but those guys are considered above top level. With the motorsports abs system you have, you have individual wheels speeds. Why not implement some sort of traction control? Those courses look very much pin turn, drag, pin turn. Same with launch...

Re: Using racecapture pro mk3 in autox
HAHAHAHAHAHA. That is funny, yes the exception to the rule. No, Scott doesn't need to do anything differently, nor peters... Maybe I come in third, but really I doubt he needs lights to know when he makes mistakes. The issue I think you are running into is when you turn it off the RCP creates a new ...

Re: Using racecapture pro mk3 in autox
If you are using solostorm thats all you need for autox. Just send the info to solostorm you want to log like the brake pressure, etc. If he is looking down at the shift x2 he isn't looking ahead enough.

Re: Need step by step instructions
Sure. 1) Do you have the canbus hooked up from the RCP to the s300? 2) https://www.hondata.com/help/smanager/index.html?can_output.htm As seen here the s300 does not have a termination resistor. You'll need one of those if you want it to communicate. 3) Post your RCP file so we can see what you did ...

Series 2 RX-8 Canbus Questions
Does anyone have other working series 2 channels? I'm racing an S2 with the stability control and I can't seem to find a working steering channel. Also, looking for IAT, coolant, etc. Anyone?

Engine States with Megasquirt
See attached. You can use Can Broadcasting to send over many available engine states. In this case I'm using "Launch in" to make my coasting channel clearing by filtering out the time when I'm also pressing on my clutch. statusesmega.JPG The ID is 1520+10 so 1530, different offset for each...

Re: RaceCapture App 2.0 -massive upgrades - looking for beta testers
Excellent. I'd like to change to custom units at times. Any way we can do this? Also a multiplier or offset would be nice, in case the values as sent from a Podium were not quite right. Good work, guys! You can create a virtual channel in lua and make the units anything you like and change multipli...

Re: Intermittent data errors
I have a track/mk2 using Solostorm 2 as the logger in a Toyota FRS for Autocross. At the last event I started to get intermittent errors in the data for Steering, brake pressure, TPS, and Lat G. The errors last only for a few (0.1 sec) samples but are very large up to 32K. The Solostorm analysis to...
