Holden (GMH) module and sensors

Post by Brockster »

Hi from Aus
I am going to put an ecotech V6 holden motor in my Ford courier ute. I hate petrol and run LP gas only so the engine is stripped of it's wiring and I will be starting from scratch. The fuel side is no problem, GasResearch is the only way to go but I need a strong spark to run the high compression gas loves which brings me to this system which looks the way to go. I was wonering if anyone has used this system on one of these engines? Can you use the GM module and sensors? I have included a link which gives some info on the system. As you can see it is a wasted spark system but it has two sensors triggering it. Any help would be great.

The only LPgas sytem to run and they can even put them on diesels. Yuck

Brock,

The Megajolt Lite Jr is designed to only work with the Ford EDIS module. In your case, you would need an EDIS-6 unit and mount the necessary trigger wheel. Upcoming Megajolt 2 variants will not depend on the EDIS module and ultimately support a variety of trigger wheel patterns. Keep an eye on our news and announcements section for an update!

Sounds good. Any release date yet for megajolt 2. It is a bit harder to get the Ford parts readily in OZ.
