The TVIS is a separate unit between the intake manifold and the head. The HKS manifold has 8 ports and matches the 30mm ports on the TVIS unit.
I use a user output inverted to on and set to 4,000 RPM (or whatever) to switch it off. Off opens the vac sol and the butterflies.
The TVIS control is low draw and needs no relay, it's always on until rpms reach the set range then opens up as it's switched off.
Throttle response in low revs is much better and flow seems to just fine in high revs.

Gotta cut the cross member, unless you want to lose the heater and or chop the firewall like the V8 guys do.
A piece of 3" angle 8" long, boxed and welded in and your good to go with the stock pan set up. Not the prettiest welding but it's out of sight.
Nice looking motor the EDIS is the best upgrade I made the MJ is great. Tweak cam timing without fiddling with ign.
Had to do the alt on the drivers side after trying and trying on the pass side (plumbing gets tough)
Drop me an email if need more info on the swap. When I did it I couldn't find any one that had done one.
It's working great but the 3.9 MG axle is too high, I'm building a narrowed GTS axle with 4.30 I might have to go to 4.56 but I'll try the 4.3 first.
I have an extra GTS drive line if you need one.
