Hard Starting....

Post by mayngo »

New Megajolt installation, went very well and very happy with performance but I'm having a little difficulty when I go to start it. I always have to crank it for about 4 or 5 seconds, let go of the key and then it always starts on the second try, after about the same amount of cranking. I don't believe engine is flooding with gas because it does it on initial cold start up and after it's been sitting for a half an hour after long drive. I have not tried shutting it off and immediately starting it back up yet, I will try that tomorrow.

Any ideas?

Sorry for the late reply. Have you tried adjusting the cranking advance (in the software)? Does it pop or try to catch, at all?

It may be a flooding issue, but where should the cranking advance be?

Thanks
