Load value V4 in test mode

Post by Alex B »

I have the Megajolt assembled and connected to the laptop. What pressure should the Load sensor show when nothing else is connected? It reads now 44 KPa. When I suck the MAP sensor it gets down to 0, it will even get as low that the needle overshoots 0 and ends up at the 102 mark (it's in NA-mode). When I blow I can increase pressure up to 56 KPa, then my lips give in and I get pressure loss, resulting in revolting noises  . The domestic barometer shows 1010 (millibar?), being almost 76 something, I have no idea to what kind of scale that is connected. Is the reading of 44 KPa from the MAP sensor a normal value in room conditions? The needle shows occasionally a short and quick movement to almost 60 KPa before getting to rest again at 44.

Tia,
Alex

Hi Alex, sorry for the late reply. When you say "assembled" do you mean you soldered together one of the older V4 kits?

Hi Brent,

It's a Rev C that was auctioned on Ebay. It was completely untouched, all parts in its original packing. I downloaded the 4.0.2 version of the Configuration/Tuning software. I haven't downloaded the Controler Firmware; is that needed?
