hi,

Last year i collected the hardware to start my Megajolt project. Peace by piece i got all the parts i needed. Now the time is here to put things toghetter to see if i can make it work.

My project is a Talbot Matra Murena 1.6 (1982). it's a mid-engine car, with a polyester body, a galvanized chassis and recognizable by it's 3 front seats. I bought this car a couple of years ago and i like to work on it. Last year i made some major modifications. Complete electric system rebuild. new leather interior, new vacuum system (brakes / headlights), modification mechanic to electrical fuelpump, battery move from front to back of the car, brake system rebuild, etc etc.

The previous owner did some engine modifications. He replaced the stock carbs for Mikuni (Yamaha R1 carbs). I took some time to improve this modification. Now the engine is more reliable.

I am building my Megajolt with TPS. I did have a TPS for my Mikuni's, it turned out to be the wrong model. I made a bracket and punctured the TPS. I looks like it works allright. We'll see.

I have a spare engine. I could use this to figure out the best way to place the crank sensor. I have a bracket thats connected to the engine mounts. It's quit stable.

previously i also discussed my day to day car on this forum (VW Corrado VR6) if i can get my Murena running on Megajolt i also want to build it on my VW. Because the Murena is more straight forward (i think) i use this as a test to see if i can get it to work.

I am not a car mechanic, just someone who likes to work on cars. I think i will ask a few questions on this forum in the next few month.

Starts out-of-the-box after driving for a few minutes the car started to drive bad and even stopped. after a few minutes it started again and then it stopped so i had to call a friend to tow me.
