Long overdue.. here's a link to the updated project information:

I borrowed an execellent wiring diagram from Steve Randle.. Will flesh out versions for EDIS-6 and EDIS-8 when I can.

A couple of comments if I may....

I find it real confusing having the +12V at the bottom. There's no law against it, but it's usually at the top...

Don't really know what the 25uF capacitor is for...power supply spike suppression? Does it need to be 'near' the MJLJ? etc etc

Not sure what the black +12V is above the red 5V...

I'm happy to have a go at the diagram Brent - just let me know - but I don't want to duplicate effort...

25uF Cap

The 25uF cap is part of the EDIS setup (The grey block, about the size of a match box) and is there for noise suppresion in the coil lines, it helps to reduce the RF noise that production cars are tested for.

<<The grey block, about the size...>>I don't have one of those...but I also don't have a radio in the rally car, so I'm not that fussed about/have never had a problem with noise suppression!

I *think* I've never seen any grey block in any pictures or words about getting the EDIS components from a car to suit a MJLJ - or am I missing something?

Suppresion

The suppressor was fitted for the SVA test on a new build.

In a standard production car this is fitted along side the coil Pack.

25uF Cap

You can see the Cap on my installation right next to the coil pack. As SRandle said it's part of the orginal loom from the standard production cars.
