Post by germanz »

Hello,

I'm not a excel freak. Does sombody know a tool, that converts easily a csv file to a graph. Or made a smart macro for excel ?

Many thanks

Excel really is the most simple tool in my mind. It's quiet easy to do and the excel help is generally quite good.

Excel will open a CSV file directly.

The problem I've found is that all lines are plotted with the same Y axis scale - and some lines are just bumps on the zero line when compared to rpm! :)

Excel graphs can have two different Y scales. IIRC what you need to do is select a data set and change it to use the secondary Y axis in the properties dialog.

The wizards in Excel work fairly well for creating a variety of graphs from CSV data. Because of this, I didn't originally include any log viewing tools in the configuration software. However, I can see that it would be very convenient to simply reload and playback the charts- so I'll get that capability on the list for the next software release.
