the standard default map is good to get started, all the rover builders quote 36 degrees maximum anyway. the only real tweaks i did was to alter the low revs high throttle position area to lose the stumble caused by the carb accellerator pumps... and lift the off throttle area for lower revs.

have a look here... http://www.autosportlabs.org/viewtopic.php?t=1512

You can also try mine. It has inbuilt idle control and rev limiter. Mine is for a 3.5 litre. The 36 degree max is under load. My under load figure goes to 36:

This webpage shows that the Rover V8 can go to 38 degrees - this is under load. It mentions that you can put on up to another 15 degrees under light throttle:

Hello All,

I am looking for a known Good Megajolt map for a rover 3.9, for both Pertol and LPG.

The engine is stock, with a LPG mixer/carb as opposed to gas injection.

I will be running MAP not TPS.

Can anyone help me out.

Regards,

John.
