As I've been upgrading my V3 unit for map switching today, I thought about creating a label for the unit.
I also thought it might be a good idea to allow info to be written on the label, so I created one in Photoshop, printed it and laminated it to allow it to be written on, cleaned and rewritten. Any thoughts?
If someone needs a memory jog like this then perhaps a sticker on the side, not unlike the serial #, product code stickers you'd see on commercial hardware. I've never seen that combined with the main product logo.
As for the usefulness, that would vary I suppose. Most people only have 1 (or two) of these ignition controllers, so it should be pretty easy to remember what firmware version they're running. The windows software also tells you what version it is (Help/About).
The part on the what maps are configured seems more useful, but I always envisioned that label being next to the switch on the dash or console that controls it.
Thanks!

I'm with Brent idea, for a professional looking, the label is best to separate from the logo. I have tried a little graphical test, here my version of the label. What do you tink about?? Let me know!!
