Installing in Dodge Neon using a stock crank wheel?

Post by 4600cc »

I'm installing MJ in dodge neon, it is a 2.0L 4 cylinder engine. It uses GM HEI ignition, and has the following trigger wheel setup:

Can I hook up EDIS-4 right up to that VRS and expect it to work right out of the box?

...and if not, what do I do? I want MJ in that thing bad!!!

No, sorry, you will need to

No, sorry, you will need to mount an EDIS wheel to your crank. Your best bet is usually mounting to the front pulley. I think 3 different sizes are available stock. The 4cyl 1.9L is about 5 1/4" diameter. You will need to research the other two. The second rout would be to have a cusom unit built or have it machined directly into your front pully or dampner.
