New to the board and the whole MJLJ stuff. Got my board and ordered my Digikey parts - whats the best case to use? Thanks

Brent,
I work at a research place that has a cnc waterjet machine perfect for cutting the end panels. I would have to pay a very small amount to the shop for the grit used, but would be way cheaper than a machine shop could do it for. If you're interested, let me know and i'll see what it would cost for a mass production run of say 20-50 case ends. All i need is an autocad drawing of the end and i can stick it into the machine and bam!

Brent, I am ready to buy a case. So If you are arranging a group buy of cases with pre-punched ends... Count me in!

I'm curious..... You guys make it sound like the case/part number in the link above DOES NOT come with Ends.... ????

I'm pretty sure the flanged one comes with ends..... like in the picture in the link above... It also looks like there are ends below on the page selling the cases...

Correct me if I'm wrong of course... I'm trying to price mjlj as well as outline what needs to be done to build this for my project..

Yes, the case in the order form does come with ends, they're just not pre-punched with holes specific for the MJLJ. You'll have to cut your own. Not too bad with a drill and a few files...

I'm in the process of finding out what it'll take to get pre-punched panels made.
