well here's a dumb ass mistake #101 don't get your switched hot lead from the headlight curcuit, on 72 beetles the headlights go off when the starter is engaged :oops:

I'm finishing up my fi install and found a problem with no fuel at the injectors,, my system is similar to the CB performance 4 knob system used for years now. Okay it needs a coil input from the - side of coil to fire the injectors....I've tried # 11 on the edis module (where my tach is hooked) and...

Another update: Well it was back to the track, cooler outside temps...lowered tire pressure to 18psi and got a little more grip (still street tires and muffler)...oh and at 9psi she ran
12.8 @ 105 mph with a 1.90 60'

yes the BOV works great! Map is working good as well, even added a shift light in the dash next to the brake warning light, yes the vacuum tank is pvc, feel free to use the idea, I'm sure I did just can't remember :shock:

Another UPDATE....it's now August 2010 and I made a few runs at the track. I found 2 problems, I was running lean by the 1/8th mile and would stall after I lifted. A new higher pressure fuel pump fixed the first problem and a true BOV fixed the other. So far at 9 psi boost the best 1/8th mile pass w...

it's a turbo motor which I don't think is really needed but hey if It's still making power so be it, I was more curious than anything else, how about the load issue, I was only in 3rd gear here, will the load increase in 4th as I take out more timing there.....thanks and what a wonderful product

okay hopefully I can explain this well so here goes.....I took my car to the drag strip last night and recorded my log of the run...I did run into a problem with a lean issue in 3rd gear and had to shut down at the 1/8th mile. On reading my log I noticed my rpm ina few areas of going over my 6000rpm...

yeah mine is between 59 and 61 at idle on my VW with twin Dellorto 40 drla's, vacuum needle still fluctuates a bit at idle also, still runs and maps fine.
