MAP sensor question
I have a set of dual Kadrons running on my VW. After building an engine, I'm just now getting to actually run it. I have a question about where to hook the MAP sensor up to. The carbs have a balance tube that goes to both manifolds, and stock, that is the only vacuum signal. I also have the option t...

I just checked, I have a V4 Rev C controller. I know the TPS and MAP share the internal input. The statement you said in the other post, about having one input on the processor not used, does that apply to the V4 board? I can get it out of my enclosure one way or another but only if there is actuall...

That's more or less how I've planned to do it up until now. I just thought if I could feed mjlj directly I would have less wiring to do. Also I'm thinking one day going metasquirt (unless Brent comes up with fuel injection ;) ) and it would simplify the Chang overfor that too. After re-reading Funky...

Ryan My plan was to sever the link from the TPS in the Molex connector, so it's no longer connected to the circuitry internally, it would then be passed over to the second input. From what Brent said in the other post (maybe it's not relevant on the V4 boards?) there is an unused input in the proces...

Additional inputs for MJLJ
Hey everyone. I saw a post here and one of the posts was from brent saying For those that would like to do firmware mods, there's also the AUX input on the board (not tied to the molex connector). That feeds a pin on the processor which can be configured as an Analog or digital channel. Brent, can y...

Today I was working on my VR sensor mount. I've prettied it up a little, thought I'd share some pics. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Ise-yGUUkLU/TOg7O7OTQTI/AAAAAAAAACc/hRVTNzwAoCk/s800/IMG_0068.JPG Also here is my trigger wheel design http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Ise-yGUUkLU/TOg8S7UPJxI/AAAAAAAAACs/9UOfOWo...

1968 VW Beetle
Just thought I'd get this thread started, since I've got the MJLJ in the car, but not the engine ;) The TL;DR version, engine rebuilt this year, new basically everything, new brakes, arduino will be in car for lots of info, MJLJ works great; I'm working on my VR sensor bracket right now, cleaning up...

Thanks Brent Like I said, after reading the datasheet I saw there was a flyback internally, I just didn't know if it was hooked up. As for the rev limiter, it's wired up, but the engine is currently out of the car again (flywheel seal leaked oil on my fresh rebuild, d'oh). I will post an update when...

user defined outputs
do the user defined outputs need a flyback diode for relay driving, or is there one internally?
thanks
Eric
edit: from what i can get off the datasheet and the mjlj assembly instructions no i don't need any external flyback, just thought i'd check first though
thanks

MAP sensor takeoff with carb balance tube
Hey guys I have a 1968 VW Beetle with a 1600 engine with dual Kadrons. I have converted to MJLJ and am trying to figure out the best way to run the air line from the carbs. What I would like to do is this: Pull out the current brass fittings from the manifolds, tap to 1/8 NPT, put some AN flare fitt...
