Tachometer
What brand of tachometer works with megajolt? I've tried using a TIM one and it doesn't appear to work, however it was second hand and I can't be sure it works at all. It's meant to work off the negative side of the coil on a distributor run ignition car, would placing the wire that usualy goes ther...

A little help with a research paper
For my final year dissertation at university, I have chosen a subject based on automotive manufacture. The overall answer will be yes in large firms, but I want to get th...

Looking at the installation guide, it looks to me that the coil +12v that used to come from my fusebox and working fine, will now come from my megajolt unit unit. So looking at this diagram. http://www.autosportlabs.net/images/f/f1/Mjlj_v4_pinout.png The top left pin (coil power) and the pin 2 space...

I've been trying for the last couple of days, but im struggling to get it to work. It's confusing to install the board into the ...

Hard rev laptop
Im a little confused, where does the hard rev limit feature go to on the coil pack, I think i can see where it comes out of the plug on the ECU, just not sure where it goes onto the coilpack. Is it the middle plug?

EDIS problems
Im installing my megajolt at the moment, and just working on the EDIS for now. I have spark, so put the plugs in and it's just backfiring through my carb. It's EDIS 4 on an A-series in my mini. Im now starting to think my trigger wheel might not be bolted on properly. At TDC the missing tooth is 90 ...
