its something todo with the natural atmosperic pressure of the environment (being something like 1 bar (14.5psi), this makes up the difference between the 21psi and 36psi. e.g you its already there on top of what is being measured in the engine..... (hehe hello robert, it was more fun finding sensor...

excellent its been a while since ive had my car running, but i think it reads about 100kpa on idle, and my 14psi was something like 195kpa so does that 255 include atmospheric pressure? (sorry if thats a dull question, im just trying to get things sorted in my head) Ill be using the MAP sensor as it...

Hello
ive just been reading on the site that the MAP sensor reads upto 255 KPa, about 21 psi of boost
Is there another sensor that can be fitted into the unit if i plan on running upto 30 psi?
Thanks

it needs to be on the engine side of the carb so that it can sense the pressure of the engine, where i think your talkinbg about is just on the air filter side try and find somewhere on the inlet manifold to take it from, or drill and tap it and fit a take off pipe, on my mini ive used the take off ...

thats about right -fit a low rated fuse on the 12v, about 0.5a i think is what ive used -option is aparently for the switchable map, presumably it will work with out this wired in, but im not using the v3 board so im not too sure -it will work fine without the rev limit connected to anything, i thin...

im just trying to get my head around this...
So i can use a led shift light using the megajolt output with out a relay if i have
12v> resistor for LED> LED> Megajolt shift light connection
If i want to use a bulb, i must use a relay
is this correct?
