Real Time Config Load??
Hi All, Sorry to bombard the boards with my 3rd post of the evening but I can't find this on the archives anywhere and I think it's quite significant to tuning. Is it possible to upload/alter the ignition map via the software/laptop in real time while the engine is running? Or do you have to stop th...

Kock Sensor
Hi All, Knock sensors have been asked about before but they don't seem to have been discussed much by anyone. Anyhow I'm really keen to implement something so I can push the timing up with the knowledge some level of protection exists. My thought at the moment is to use a standard knock sensor which...

Rev Limiter
Hi Dave, I was also really interested to read your thoughts on using relays to ground the -tive side of the coil. I'd like to hear more about this especially as with the new (beta) firmware there shouldn't be the cranking issue. Couple of key points: 1) Why ground out the -tive, couldn't you just cu...

Finally - Success!!!
Hi all, I finally got the system working today! After testing the coil with an old distributer and checking the signals comming from the sensor to confirm they worked, all I was left with was the EDIS module itself. Replaced it and it worked first time! It's just my luck that I should have got what'...

Thanks Todd,
Any information on testing you could provide would be great. The multimeter I have is pretty reasonable so hopefully it will show something.

Sensor Diagram?
Thanks for the reply Paul, I have tried it with the sensor connected both ways around but with no luck. Is there a diagram anywhere (or better an annotated photo) that shows how the sensor should be connected? Most of the sensors I have seen have the connections 'dipping' away from the main sensor '...

No Spark, No Nothing - Please Help!
Hi all, I'm seriously confused at current as to why my EDIS setup won't work at all, no sign of a spark not even without MegaJolt attached in 'Limp Home' mode. The wiring all looks good to me though if anyone knows of any common mistakes (other than swapping the sensor wires around which I've tried ...

25uf Radio Suppression (EDIS Wiring)
Hi All, I have a query as to the wiring of the Megajolt/EDIS system concerning a diagram on the origional Megajolt site (http://www.bgsoflex.com/mjl/mjl_edis_summary.html). My original car ('75 Triumph Spitfire - any idea's Josh?) has some kind of suppressor/resitor with sits between the negative si...
