Yor canister is either 200cc or 400cc depending if it is 2in dia or 4in diameter. I would say this is too big and would delay any pressure signal from a change in throttle. My damper is around 60cc and suffers very little delay. better to connect it straight to the plenum directly (via a small diame...

If you are using an injection setup then the ecu then there could be a few reasons 1. The plenum slightly delays the change in pressure seen when you apply throttle so you need to chane the transient fuelling parameters but I doubt that would be the reason. 2. It is leaking 3 . It is connected post ...

There is no additional wiring, the rev 'limit' is in the calibration file. If you put in 6400rpm it will retard the ignition to 0degrees at 6300rpm.
Just try it , it works fine.

You can use the rev limit to retard the ignition to 0 degrees. It does the same thing as your map and saves an rpm site.

The program is from Race Technology and uses no sensors from the MJLJ. It uses a TPS attached to the carb spindle and a remote pressure sensor all logged at 100hz. Also has an input from the coil for engine speed (at the time this was logged before installing the MJLJ - now I use the coil input wire...

Just finished installing my modified engine now with waisted 36/31mm valves, further port mods, 1.5 roller rockers, 11:1 CR and side exit exhaust to comply with noise regs
Also using the latest configurator which helps mapping.

Looking at your map couldn't you remove the 6000rpm line and put another break point lower down instead.?
You would only be 0.5degree away at worst from your current values by interpolation alone.
Just a thought.

Comments page

Hi,
I wonder if it would be possible to add a section into the file where you can add some comments on the configuration.
For example the base map it was derived from and changes made to it.
I think it would make it a little easier to develop the map if you make a lot of changes quickly.
Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Not sure how that effects anything. Maybe we will get some documentation on this at some point. When I looked at it I put all the values to zero (a bit foolish really since I didn't know what it all did!). I know that there were some values in there before. Do you know what they...

Thanks for that but I worked that out already.

The question was what is the menu on the 'advanced' page all about. It has two columns
1. Memory
2. Value.
It has a couple of numbers in there and I would like to know what this table does.

Thanks again.
